The fjörðs and the museum
Our last full day in Norway was Thursday, July 17. We decided to spend it exploring the fjörðs and a museum that we saw every day we were here. On our way to the pier to find the boat that will take us on the first part of our journey, we passed by a restaurant we saw most days, but never noticed this couple sitting at one of its tables.

We reach the pier and pass by this ship. It’s not the one that we’ll travel on, but we don’t have a photo of that one.

Once we get started, we look at the tower that tells us where we are staying

This is the second oldest lighthouse in Oslo. It has been decommissioned and is now a restaurant you can rent out for special occasions. The rental price includes a boat ride to the lighthouse and back.

It was the hottest day of our stay here, 31 degrees celsius (88 fahrenheit). We saw people swimming everywhere.

On our way back to the Airbnb, we noticed this woman, with her hat and heels, that we hadn’t noticed before

We saw this creature every day, but hadn’t photographer it before. It is just next to our building

Normally, we turn left when we exit the building that houses our Airbnb. This is the view when we turn right.

There are two parts of the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art. This was part of the temporary exhibit. The descriptor talked about a Unicorn, that we couldn’t see until this little girl walked into a motion detector that opened up the wall behind her.
