The Gothenburg Archipelago
On Monday, July 21, we went on a cruise of the southern Gothenburg Archipelago on this boat

This boat, the Viking, was docked close to ours. It looked cool, but was beyond our budget

On our way out of the harbor, we passed many important buildings, like the Göteborgsoperan, the opera house.

Sjömanstornet, the sailors’ tower, was erected in memory of the Swedish sailors who lost their lives during the First World War

According to our tour guide, this is the “famous Swedish Red Rock.” No idea why it’s famous.

We actually ate here. Not typical Irish fare: salmon, Swedish meatballs.

Tomorrow is our last day in Gothenburg.
We plan to meet Poseidon and eat a cinnamon bun bigger than our heads.
