Nyhavn

We went out for brunch on Sunday, July 27, at

So, why is it called Alaska Cafe? It’s named after the owner’s cat.

After brunch, we did our laundry. The Airbnb has a wasing machine, but no dryer, so we want to be sure to give our clothes enough time to air dry.

After that, around 15:00, we decide to visit Nyhavn, a 17th-century waterfront, canal and entertainment district in Copenhagen, that we saw from the harbor on the ill-fated day. We took the metro, and once again sat in the front so we could see the tunnels. We emerged from the metro in Kongens Nytorvm, King’s Square. We see many grand buildings like the Royal Playhouse.
