Return to Reykjavík

Thursday, July 10, began with an incredible sunrise (at 2:30 AM). Gail was up (amazingly) and recorded these photos.

We left our best Airbnb ever about 10 AM. With some critters bidding us farewell

We headed back to Reykjavík. Along the way we stopped at Skógafoss. Some kind soul took a photo of both of us.

As you can see, many people hiked to the top of the falls, not us though

It rained pretty hard on the way back. By the time we got to Reykjavík, however, the rain had stopped, and we caught a bus back to our Reykjavík Airbnb, where we met back up with Ken and Cathy. This is a picture that they had taken the day before, at the beginning of their Golden Circle tour.
