Utrecht Food Tour

We booked a vegan food tour for Utrecht for Friday, Aug. 1. We met our guide and group at Thinker on a Rock. We were the only non Europeans, the only senior citizens, and the only non vegetarians.

The Dom Tower of Utrecht is the tallest church tower in the Netherlands. It is considered the symbol of Utrecht. The tower is separate from the church due to a storm in 1674.

Winkel & Sinkel was the first department store in the Netherlands.

The food tour was longer than any food tour we’ve been on (6.5 km), and we felt we had to hurry to keep up with the youngsters. So there were few photos on this day. Tomorrow there will be many more photos.
